A total of 29 Cuban ballplayers are active on the rosters of their respective Major League Baseball teams this Spring Training 2023, as reported by the Swing Completo Statistics Department.
The list, very similar to that of recent years, has Cuban players on 18 MLB teams, leaving 12 without the presence of our players.
The franchise with the most Cuban-born players on its 40-man roster is the Chicago White Sox, as expected, with five players, while seven other teams have two Cubans and 10 franchises have only one.
The total number of Cuban-born players seeing action in Spring Training is higher, as there are several players who received an invitation to the training camp, looking for a spot (César Prieto, Norge Luis Ruiz, Leonys Martín, among others).
